The Prevent programme is a national initiative run by the Police to examine and explore issues relating to terrorism and violent extremism within schools. A series of pilot projects took place in Lancashire schools in summer 2009. Jez worked with sound artist Dan Fox, teacher Koser Mahmood, and Academy students to create a one off installation in an empty shop unit in Accrington Lancashire, exploring students hopes, fears, and attitudes to extremism and terrorism. A further development of this project will take place during summer 2010. The film is part of a DVD by Graham Kay accompanying the project.

Working with artist Matt Davies and students from Accrington Academy to create a wall scale drawing depicting figures from Greek myth, as part of the Creative Partnerships programme within the school.

'Things and Stuff" was a project which brought together documentation of the Creative Partnerships programme at Accrington Academy between 2006 and 2008, sharing the successes, mistakes and the learning journey we undertook.
